Dr. Frank Bayer (Lufthansa Technik AG) were re-elected to the Executive Board by the members.
Angela Bronner (Airbus Operations GmbH) joined the Executive Board as a new member in July, bringing with her fresh momentum, enthusiasm, and valuable practical perspectives. The election of the Chairman of the Executive Board and his deputy took place on November 5.
Prof. Dr.-Ing. Thomas Netzel (HAW Hamburg) was re-elected as Chairman of the Executive Board and Dr. Frank Bayer (Lufthansa Technik AG) as Deputy Chairman. The HCAT+ Executive Board thus remains on its proven course: committed, reliable, and with a clear vision for the future.

All members of the board work on a voluntary basis—with a great sense of responsibility, professional expertise, and personal commitment. Volunteering at HCAT+ is not just about meetings and strategy, but above all about shaping, networking, and thinking ahead. Thinking ahead. And anyone who has experienced the six of them live quickly realizes that this is not about titles or prestige, but about moving forward together. With a good dose of pragmatism, experience, and cohesion, they drive forward issues that strengthen Hamburg’s educational and economic landscape in the long term.
